Here we have analysed and reviewed the design of 3 BHK bungalow admeasuring 187.00 sqm. Good features have been shown as recommended and undesirable features have been shown as “Not Recommended”.
The road on which the house abuts and North have also been shown in the sketch.

R1 – Window in opposite walls provides good cross ventilation.
R2 – Bed room is placed in wind direction i.e. South West direction, which is prevailing wind direction during hot months of Feb. to Sept. in India.
R3 – Good distance between Sofa and T.V. Again T.V. on dead wall is good.
R4 – Cupboard along internal wall is always preferred. Cupboard on exterior wall are not desirable as they may get damaged due to moisture / dampness in wall. The plywood will get damaged due to moisture.
R5 – Kitchen, Store room & Wash area are well located and connected.
R6 – Right layout of toilet for dry and wet space point of view.

NR1 – Opening of door shall be clockwise rather than anti clockwise in the given situation.
NR2 – Store Room not recommended rather one can make wall storage unit for better usage of space. Such small room doesn’t serve much purpose.
NR3 – Space recommended for wash Basin.
NR4 – Position & Orientation of W.C. is East-West. Hence recommended to be changed @ North for given plan.
NR5 – Very critical and inadequate space. Hence not recommended for dressing. Again door needed at dressing.
NR6 – Space being wasted hence not recommended.
NR7 – Wall below staircase recommended to have neat and clean space on area below staircase as such area are difficult to maintain and again it will not give good look.
NR8 – Width of the verandah is not adequate for sitting etc.
NR9 – Too large family lounge as compared to size of bungalow and size of Bed room.
NR10 – Only Basin without counter is not recommended for this type of home.
